December 2008
I have launched a new website based on my studies with Dick Nelson on Maui.
ColorIsRelative.com
Funkyenough.blogspot.com
You can also find me on facebook. Here is the color page.

2007: Now showing at the epOxybOx in Venice Beach, California, the Maui Artists for Peace "War and Peace Art Show" is a bold declaration that America's occupation of Iraq must end. The show is traveling across the country picking up artists along the way and becoming the largest protest art show ever to be held during the presidential election in Washington D.C. An image of the piece above of George W. Bush meditating was printed in an LA paper.
Oct. 2, 2007: I'll be releasing some back page Flower Series pieces soon. Pieces that didn't fit the final theme for the set but still wanna be seen.
Sept. 2007: The Box Set, made public for the first time is here.
About me: FunkyEnough on myspace.
I'm an artist living in Maui having spent the last bunch of years in the Bay Area. I've been selling my art since 2001 and you can see what sold and what is still available in my Oakland or my SF gallery. My techniques are totally original. The newest paintings available to purchase online are called The Flower Series.
To understand what I am doing with the shapes in my artwork, a good place to start is with the Poet and the Painter. In it, Jamey Austin and I filmed an unscripted process exploring the power of these two arts. Mystical Street Art documents my art show at the Berkeley Marina and includes some amazing fire dancing.
Some of you may know me as the guy responsible for the Aloha Art Update.
I try to expose as much about my art as I can. On my blog, you can click through the layers of Flower Four, revealing the process of creation.
The work that I am most proud of is The Cherish Tree. It started as an email campaign asking people what they cherish, became the altar at the Santa Rosa Health and Harmony Festival and eventually made it to Burning Man. It is now available in a limited edition.
